The World Immunotherapy Council (WIC) Asian Chapter was founded in 2023 by Dr. Bernie Fox and Dr. Joe Yeong to boost international collaboration in immunotherapy and strengthen innovation and translational research across Asia—closely aligned with SITC’s mission to improve cancer patient outcomes. The event brings together world-leading immunologists, clinicians, and researchers at the forefront of cancer immunology, with plenty of chances to connect through networking, new-collab meetups, poster sessions, and an early-career panel on becoming an internationally recognised researcher. The first meeting was held in Shanghai, China, in collaboration with Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital.
